Welcome New Pikeville Ind. Employees
Pikeville Independent is pleased to welcome several new faces to the faculty and staff for the 2010-2011 school year. Pikeville High school has four new faculty members.
New Principal at Pikeville High School
Pikeville High School’s Site-Based Council didn’t have to look far to find the school’s next principal – they just had to bring him home.
Presidential Physical Fitness Challenge
Twenty-three students from Pikeville Elementary and Pikeville High School were recognized at the district’s monthly board meeting on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, for their outstanding performances on the Presidential Physical Fitness Challenge.
Congratulations Graduates
Eighty-one seniors are now graduates of Pikeville High School. Commencement ceremonies for the class of 2010 were held on May 30th at Alumni Auditorium.
Governor's Scholars Named
Four Pikeville High School students will be spending their summer as Governor’s Scholars. Shikha Sachedeva, Paula Jo Roberts, Hannah Lockhart, Kathleen Smith and Jack Carter (alternate) were selected to be part of this prestigious group.
PES Celebrates Perfect Attendance
Pikeville Elementary School is pleased to congratulate 17 students who achieved perfect attendance for the 2009-2010 school year.
